I feel that children that are autistic are really pitiful. When their parents pass on, how will they survive? That is a big question, anyway, authism is a mental illness. It is a illness which affects the thinking of the person that has it. It makes that person slower. Our brain is actually like a drawers. When we learn things, that knowledge is stored in the different compartments. But for an authistic person, he or she cannot store that knowledge into his or she's different 'compartments'. But most authistic people have one particular thing they are very good at. This is what authism is.

Autism is a developmental disorder that appears in the first 3 years of life, and affects the brain's normal development of social and communication skills.
I really felt sorry for those children diagnosed with autism. People will depise them and look down on them. Sometimes, they will even hurt you by scolding them bad remarks.
They also do not want to have this kind of mental illness, unfotunately, they had. As for some mothers who wanted to commit suicide, I think rhat they do not want to face up to reality. They have to face the music however ugly the truth is.
I really feel very fortunate that I am not diagnosed with any illness.

I feel that children with autistic problems is very pitiful. Some of the autistic children parents due to the lack of support and proper understanding of autism, have even resorted to suicide. I think we should understand more about autism and try to help the parents and the autistic children.

Autism is a brain disorder that makes its victim harder to learn things.
I personally feel that children with autism is commonly misunderstood as stupid or crazy. Not many people sympathise with these children.
Those inconsiderate people have no idea how hard it is for the child who is usually bullied. Singapore is known as without flaws but these pitiful children are treated without care or love.
If only the government can counsel these children to tell them their problems in school. They should know that they are special and not some dimwit.

  10. That boy is one unlucky chap. I would have already suffered from depression if I were in such condition. Since we are not diagnosed with any conditions, we should cherish our lifes and make something out of it. I hope that the boy would overcome his unfortunate state and do great things in life to make his family proud. Austism is a disability that affects the person's IQ, which make things harder for him. Therefore, we normal people should be able to overcome our own problems since we don't have any disability. I feel sorry for that boy but I pity the sister even more. She has the resilience to put up with his brother errant behavior and would always stay by his side no matter what happen, I really admire her character as she can tolerate!!!!!!

Linking to what the others has said, I feel that even if we suffer from autism, we still have to carry on life! That boy is just so pitiful. How I wish I could help. What I meant by a 3 year old could get autism is that I did not know that a child would get it since he or she was a baby.

(I did not think my comment for the first was good so I commented again but my is true! I found it in the dictionary this afternoon before I posted for the first one!) :)

  26. Low awareness of autism? That's sad... no wonder people use the term "spoilt brat" so often. Actually, I seemed to be exhibiting some communication disorder-thingy signs when I was young (eg. really reserved). Does that solve the mystery of why I don't interact much now?

Autism (noun): A mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by great difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts
