### Synthesis and Transformation 6

1. For those who are reading this, the answer key for "No Harm" maths paper will only be sent tomorrow. (Mdm Toh sent us paper 2 again instead).

For those who read the same comment in the later post... sorry, just a bit kiasu.

2. Apologies to all! I should have checked carefully when sending the mail. Thank you Devesh. In such instances, being kiasu is greatly welcome :)

3. Kiasu is very Singaporean. Nice to see the Singapore Spirt in place.

4. Hi Mdm Toh,
This is Devesh's mum. He encountered some trouble with some S&T. Cd you pls help with them. I will send them as separate comments. Thanks

5. 1) She did not know that there was a stranger lurking nearby.
DL's ans: Unknown to her, a stranger was lurking nearby.
Given ans: Unknown to her, there was a stranger lurking nearby.

6. 2)The police have taken the stolen loot as evidence of the crime
DL ans: The stolen loot was taken by the police as evidence of the crime.
given ans: The stolen loot has been taken by the police as evidence of the crime.

DL's ans: Mr Goh asked Jeremy if he had revised his work the previous night.
Given ans; Mr Goh asked Jeremy if he revised his work the previous night.

I have put in bold the part that needs to be filled by the students

8. Sorry for the proliferation of comments - I think there is a limit for characters. Thanks in advance for your help.

9. Hi, for Q1, the given answer is correct. It specifies the location which is mentioned in the stem. DL's answer is good if the stem is "She did not know that a stranger was lurking nearby."

10. Q2, the given answer is correct. The tense used in Present. Devesh has changed the tense to the Past. His response is good if stem is "The police took the stolen loot as evidence of the crime."

Q3, Devesh's answer is correct :)

11. Please pretend that you did not see the typo in the last comment.

12. Thanks a million for this. I find S&T difficult to coach - because am not sure what they are actually looking for.

13. What typo? :-P

14. After 3 months and 1 PSLE, I finally see the typo.
